Free Access to Parramatta Pools

Dear Residents,

I am delighted to support a new initiative from Parramatta City Council that will enable Free Access to Parramatta Pools for seniors, people with a disability and their carers.

This program voted on just before Easter gives seniors, people with a disability and their carer’s free access to Council’s swimming centres every Tuesday.

The initiative will also offer a one-off free family pass for two adults and two children or one adult and three children, which can be redeemed at either the Parramatta or Granville swimming centres at anytime throughout the year.

The implemented 12 month trial will promote physical activity levels and access to Council aquatic centres in the local area.

Free access is valid only for residents living within the Parramatta local government area. A valid NSW Seniors Card or Disability Pension Card must be presented at the time of entry. Proof of address must also be presented.

For more information contact the Parramatta War Memorial Swimming Pool on 9630 3669 or the Granville Swimming Centre on 9637 1593.
